Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an EPIC MyChart Summer Intern. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare technology, specifically focusing on EPIC MyChart, a patient portal that empowers patients to manage their health information online.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation and optimization of EPIC MyChart features and functionalities.
Provide support to users, including patients, in navigating and utilizing EPIC MyChart.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EPIC MyChart.
Participate in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of EPIC MyChart.
Conduct research and analysis on best practices for patient engagement and digital health tools.
Assist in training sessions and workshops for users to maximize their use of EPIC MyChart.
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing efforts related to EPIC MyChart usage and improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology, with a focus on patient portals and electronic health records.
Qualifications:
Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, such as healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field.
Strong interest in healthcare technology and digital health solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in work.
Basic knowledge of EPIC or electronic health records is a plus, but not required.
Availability to work during the summer internship period.
Bilingual Spanish Required
