Key Responsibilities
Manage the process and the team as it relates to shipping and warehouse functions
Manage drivers, routing, scheduling, shipping and receiving incoming materials
Ensure drivers can execute on schedules and locations
Manage the order process including making sure they are picked and completed
Manage timecards and administrative tasks related to shipping and warehouse processes
Qualifications
Attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and problem-solve
At least 3 years of recent relevant experience in construction, logistics, building & materials
Some management and supervisory experience, even if not a formal title
Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft office
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
Compensation and Hours
This is an hourly position paying about $25/hr with some flexibility depending on experience
Hours for this position are 6:30 am to 4 pm
This is an in-person, full time position in Baltimore
Assignment is temp-to-hire, so the intention is for it to become a permanent position for the candidate selected
