Responsibilities

Installs, maintains and tests electrical distribution systems and associated electrical wiring. Repairs electrical motors and fixtures. Works with both AC and DC currents and low/high voltages.

Qualifications

Education:

High school graduate or the equivalent.

Experience:

5 years’ experience as licensed electrician. Work experience as an electrician in a hospital environment preferred.

Skills:

• Initiative and judgement to analyze electrical malfunctions.
• Ability to use various electrical testing meters and equipment, some of which could be hazardous.
