Overview
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Environmental and DEA Compliance or designee, the Environmental Engineer will provide environmental oversight for all plant operations with applicable Federal, State, and local environmental regulations. The Environmental Engineer will provide guidance to support plant expansion and modification and serve as a resource for guidance and reporting requirements related to various Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance protocols and platforms.
Responsibilities
Provide environmental oversight of plant and laboratory activities to maintain compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local environmental regulations, with a primary focus on air compliance.
Serve as an information resource on related environmental issues pertaining to site operations.
Prepare emissions profiling data for chemical handling and processing operations.
Monitor process changes and assess impacts to emissions data. Maintain emission profiling data to ensure it reflects current operations.
Assist with maintaining air construction and operating permits and associated record keeping requirements.
Complete reporting as required for compliance with applicable regulations and permit requirements.
Collect data, prepare, and submit reports for various ESG platform
Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering or sciences required; Chemical Engineering degree preferred. 2 or more years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience with emissions modeling software and regulatory filings as they pertain to air regulations is highly beneficial.
