Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant (Manufacturing) in Tampa, FL.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Staff Accountant (Manufacturing) will protect organization's value by protecting company assets and keeping information confidential


• Perform general accounts analysis and balance sheet account reconciliations and reviews, including high-volume and complex accounts for employer's benefits costs, accruals, prepaids, etc.


• Develop efficiencies in the close cycle and ensure that all steps in the close process are adequately documented


• Prepare and assist with the company's annual audit, fulfilling requests from external auditors


• As a Staff Accountant (Manufacturing), you will prepare and post consolidation entries and schedules in consolidation reporting tool


• Analyze and report on monthly global lease platform


• Ad hoc reporting as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required


• 2-4 years of experience in cost accounting in a public/large manufacturing company


• Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, Xlookups, SUMIFs, etc.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Detail-oriented team player with excellent organizational skills


• Must be a self-starter, flexible, and able to work on time sensitive projects without daily supervision


• Willingness to take on and assist with new and varied projects as they arise


• Ability to interact with all levels of management in various departments throughout the company

Preferred Skills:

• CPA or CPA Candidate


• Cost Accounting experience


• Inventory Accounting experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
