Key Responsibilities:
Disassembly and reassembly of bearing housings, and internal roll components using air tools, hand tools and bearing pullers.
Inspection of roll components and parts.
Help meet or exceed quality goals through a quality maintenance program.
Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of:
Basic computer /data entry skills.
Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping).
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years of relevant manufacturing, mechanical, or millwright experience, or 2 years technical training preferred.
Overhead bridge crane experience a plus
Fork truck certification/experience a plus
