Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales plan to drive capital equipment projects growth within the North American food & beverage market
Sell ingredient water, wastewater treatment and reuse solutions to food & beverage customers
Build and nurture relationships at all levels within food & beverage companies, engineering consultants and EPC's
In collaboration with our commercial and engineering teams you will understand and communicate customers' needs, qualify leads, and work closely with all stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive, value-driven solutions for our customers
Develop a pipeline of well-qualified projects that lead to short, medium and long-term success
Foster a strong partnership across other Veolia businesses to maximize synergy with their customers, products and growth initiatives
In collaboration with other Veolia WTS teams, integrate aftermarket services, products and chemicals offerings as part of the Veolia solution
Effectively build relationships, interface and collaborate with commercial operations, applications engineering, project management, project engineering, field service and other internal functions
Use technology systems and tools to track opportunities and provide updates on sales forecasting
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) or Science, or equivalent from an accredited University
or College
5+ years' water/wastewater treatment industry experience
Effective oral and written communication skills, gifted with interpersonal skills, and positive commercial acumen
Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
Motivated self-starter with a passion for selling
Successful track record penetrating new accounts and markets
Functional expertise with water and wastewater treatment technologies, including membrane treatment (reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration), biological treatment (MBR, MBBR, anaerobic digestion) and thermal evaporation technologies
Experience developing and implementing complex capital projects
Working knowledge of commercial contracts, terms and conditions
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM technology platform
