Position Summary
The Breakfast Kitchen Supervisorisresponsible to assist the Breakfast Kitchen Manager with ensuring that the kitchen team provides an outstanding guest experience by delivering great service and products in a clean, healthy and safe environment at this award-winning hotel. The Breakfast Kitchen Supervisor will possess the ability to support the Breakfast Kitchen Manager in training, developing, coaching and retraining employees while maintaining a healthy culture and keeping morale high by using accountability, fairness and consistency. The Breakfast Kitchen Supervisor assists in overseeing compliance to established policies, procedures, and guidelines. The Breakfast Kitchen Supervisor assists the Breakfast Kitchen Manager with catering events, with ordering products and with maintaining cost and labor effective kitchen operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Exhibits exemplary behavior in accordance with company core values and purpose.Work 5-6 shifts per week, approximately 5:30am - 1:30pm on weekdays and weekends, available holidays, occasional evening times required.Interact with our guests to help our team provide an outstanding breakfast experience.Open breakfast, cook and maintain food items on buffet including light grill work.Operate our small dish machine and help out as needed with general duties and cleanup in the kitchen and dining room.Follow food safety procedures as implemented by management and ServSafe standards.Responsible to assist with catering events at the hotel, some required evening events.Support Kitchen Manager with coaching and training fellow team members where needed. Help ensure that they have a full and accurate understanding of kitchen policies and procedures.Hold team members accountable to policies, procedures, and standards through coaching, leading by example and performance management as needed.Assist with ordering products and communicating with vendors with kitchen needs.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Minimum of two years leadership experience in restaurant/hospitalityServSafeCertified "Safety First" focusExcellent people skills with the ability to interact with guests, all levels of management and employeesUnderstanding of how to meet employees where they are at while maintaining positive company culture, policies and company core purpose and core values in the workplaceAble to follow and give directions and communicate with both guests and coworkers effectivelyDisplay a positive and professional attitude at all timesDeliver a high quality of work to ensure we are providing top notch serviceExcellent organizational skills with the ability to help coordinate catering events at the hotelAppropriate Time ManagementStrong Command of the English Language
