Russian River Brewing Company is hiring an Assistant Brewer to join our amazing team at our Santa Rosa location!

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting all brewing functions for RRBC primarily at the Santa Rosa 4th St Pub.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning and sanitation Maintain a clean and safe work production environment.
Assist Lead Brewer and Brewers with wort production as needed including weighing malt and hops for brews
Help with management of raw materials organization and storage
Perform all cellar functions at our 20 bbl brewpub facility including setup, breakdown and operation of Centrifuge
Keg cleaning and packaging in to kegs for distribution and RRBC taprooms
CIP tanks and equipment
All cellar work to be completed with an eye toward low DO
Assist on the packaging lines at our Windsor Production Brewery as needed
Work with and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance manager and/or supervisor
Work with lab staff with any QC/QA protocols
Operate a fork lift safely
Assist Front of house with maintenance and troubleshooting of draft system and cold box organization
Perform other jobs in the brewery as needed
Assist other employees as necessary
All other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Mechanical proficiency sufficient to perform routine preventative maintenance and manageable repairs

Bachelors degree in Brewing and/or related science preferred

REQUIREMENTS
Prior brewing or related experience
Must be at least 21 years of age
Current Forklift certification (RRBC can provide)
Position may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
