Position Summary

The Customer Marketing Associate Manager’s role is to provide best-in-class marketing support to the Marketing Manager with Grocery channel retailers. This role is a critical part of the customer  marketing team that serves as the marketing contact to the retail sales team and will possess a deep understanding of customer and shopper needs that inform retail activation and ultimately foster stronger customer relationships and results.

Working closely with cross-functional marketing teams, finance, sales and agency partners, the Associate Manager will support the creation of insight-driven, tailored campaigns and annual marketing plans that meet internal and external objectives while aligning with the brand strategy in the Constellation Brands Beer portfolio, including Corona, Modelo, Pacifico, Victoria and our Innovation pipeline. The ideal candidate will have both a marketing, sales, and consumer obsessed mindset.

Responsibilities


  • Support the development and lead the implementation of national marketing programs in-store and online for assigned retail accounts.

  • Assist in adapting existing brand retail tentpole and regional campaigns for assigned accounts to achieve specific retailer’s objectives and appeal to our target consumer.

  • Craft sell-in materials that convey the objectives for program at specific retailers and details that deliver incremental retail execution opportunities.

  • Lead the tactical execution of programming, including creating and ordering point-of-sale materials, sweepstakes development, creative requests.

  • Contribute to the management of agency partners to develop impactful programming that meets needs of consumers, satisfies the retailer’s business objectives, and contributes to building brand equity of Constellation’s beer portfolio.

  • Write detailed and insights-driven agency briefs, manage campaign timelines, and secure timely printing and shipping prior to in-market launch.

  • Recap campaign performance to deliver actionable conclusions and optimize future programs.

  • Establish strong cross functional relationships with sales, category, insights, brand, e-commerce, media, sponsorship, and field marketing teams to strengthen integrated marketing campaign execution.

  • Actively participate in regular sales and marketing team conference calls and meetings.

  • Own the invoicing process, including purchase order creation and monthly budget tracking for assigned accounts.

  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence decision making.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications


  • 2-5 years’ experience in the areas of Omnichannel, Shopper, Trade, Customer, Field, Brand Marketing on Supplier or Agency side in the beverage OR consumer packaged (CPG) industry.

  • Strong financial acumen in budget management and processes.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills- written and oral.

  • Organized, detail oriented and comfortable with tactical execution including proof reading and copy editing.

  • Strong ability to foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Motivated self-starter with a sense of urgency, desire to continue learning, and multi-project management & accountability.

  • Maturity and responsibility to work successfully within the beverage alcohol industry.

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with beer or other alcohol beverage and understanding of 3-tier distribution system is a plus!

  • Working knowledge of digital, mobile app and social media marketing tactics.

The salary range for this role is:


$78,800.00 - $118,200.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
