Seminal to the continued development, testing and roll out of the Public Health Exposome 5.0 database for use in interrogating hypotheses associated with three USEPA grants; the Public Health Exposome Data Curator will download extract, format, organize, and consolidate public available data. This person will also describe the data with standard annotation protocols, lexicon, and ontogeny consistent with what has been put forward in the collection of articles in the recent Exposome journal series. The data curator will also harmonize national data from the scaling of the health opportunity index from the Centers for Disease and Control. The individual will locate, parse and upload data into the Public Health Exposome 5.0 database, ensure the data captured is clean, accurate, reliable, reusable, and accessible to enable powerful queries and compatibility with national databases. They will maintain meta-data and develop a data dictionary for the database.
The goals are to; 1) Build, leverage, and expand infrastructure support for environmental justice research that addresses vulnerable populations that are at high-risk for disparate health outcomes. 2) Mobilize partners and collaborators to advance health equity and address social determinants of health as they relate to associations of climate change-related chemical stressors (and non-chemical stressors) with disparate health outcomes among vulnerable populations.

This is a grant-funded term position for 2 years with a possibility of extension.
