Job Description
Imaging Manager (IM) for CarePoint facilities, in collaboration with other managers in imaging, promotes state-of-the-art noninvasive imaging by MR in the OSUMC system, serving as an important liaison between the clinical imagers, imaging researchers, and radiology technologists in its Department of Radiology and/or Imaging Signature Program, as well as with industrial partners under approved master research agreements. In this role, the IM actively supports the following key goals: 1. uniform system-wide optimization of MR protocols for the purposes of enhanced image quality, maximum clinical yield, greatest efficiency/throughput, and minimal risk to patients and workers; 2. continuous extension of the level of imaging capabilities found on the main campus to the satellites with ongoing on-site education and applications training; 3. promotion of cutting-edge subspecialty imaging (e.g. cardiac, oncologic, neurologic); 4. support of equipment accreditation process across the system; 5. expansion of research data collection sites; and 6. assistance in image analysis.
Minimum Education Required
Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Current ARRT (R) Radiography license, MRI Advanced Certification and MRSO Certification required. Current Radiography ODH license required. Minimum Associates Degree in relevant field of study required. Minimum 5 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
