Description



This position is part of our summer program. Successful applicants will work at the plant in various General Labor positions. The program runs from May until September 14th.


Seasonal Criteria - all applicants who which to exercise the seasonal benefits such as being placed on seasonal leave of absence and returning to work during Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break and next summer will need to sign the Seasonal Form.


This position is for 2nd Shift (generally from 4:30PM to 2AM). The plant will work to accommodate students schedules until graduation. The base pay is $15.20 per hour.



Tasks



This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area.)


These positions work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.

This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked three (3) or more previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
