DUTIES:


Responsible for the development of high performance, scalable data pipeline solutions on cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS. Develop high quality technology solutions that meet the customer's needs by the specified delivery date. Conduct data modelling and participate in various activities throughout the systems development lifecycle and support activities. Involved in POCs and present the outcome. Analyze, architect, design, program, and debug existing/new products to be developed and mentor team members. Responsible for project delivery and support the execution of projects using Agile and Waterfall project methodology. Collaborate with the analysts and functional end users to understand requirements documentation. Create ER diagrams based on requirements. Ingest data from various sources using Ingestion tool and load it to GCP. Create SQL views in BigQuery to transform the ingested data and move it to the Data Lake, Hub, and Analytics layers. Generate reports using Power BI. Perform unit testing of custom applications and data flows in the context of projects, releases, and production support. Use CICD framework to deploy the code to higher environments. Deliver high quality code for features and bug fixes. Review specifications to ensure consistency in approach and use. Telecommuting permitted two days per week.


REQUIREMENTS:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field, and 3 years of experience in information technology or related.


Must have experience with:

• 2 years working in an Agile Methodology;


• 3 years with cloud-based enterprise architectures for data applications and data migrations;


• Continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment frameworks and common DevOps practices;


• 3 years working with ETL & ELT tools and frameworks for data replication;


• 3 years with SQL querying and data manipulation;


• Modeling data into star schemas using the Kimball methodology; and


• One of the following languages: Python, C#, C, C++, or TypeScript.
