Paragon Systems is hiring for the position of Major for our NIH contract. The Major must be an individual of unquestionable integrity who displays a mature attitude and exercises good judgment. The Major will perform the following:
Responsible for assisting the Assistant Program Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operation of security to address and resolve all issues affecting such.
The AOM is responsible for assisting in coordination of security operations, as well as managing, training, and assessing performance of the entire security personnel.
AOM's will assist in developing security policies and procedures.

U.S. Citizen and read, write, and speak English.
High School Diploma or equivalent
At a minimum the Assistant Operations Manager shall possess at least seven (7) years of specialized security experience and five (5) years (obtained within the last three (3) years) of management experience at a government facility with a security force equivalent to, or at a minimum, half of the security guards assigned to this award.
A two-year college degree in law enforcement or security management is preferred, but not mandatory.

Wage range for this position is $72,000 to $77,000

The paid leave for full time employees is from 80-160 hours / year based on longevity in the position, and sick leave is a minimum of 48 hours per year for a full-time employee
