The US Insights & Analytics (USIA) organization plays a critical role in launching the Oncology pipeline and growing current treatments by representing the voice of the customer. We are strategic thought partners delivering impactful insights - integrating market research, analytics, and forecasting -- that shape commercial strategy and tactics.


As a Market Insights Senior Manager - Lung Cancer Franchise, you apply critical thinking to translate analysis into a clear story and recommendations for senior leaders. In this role, you are accountable for leading insights generation, with market research as your primary tool, to guide US teams in making key decisions, tracking brand performance, developing commercial tactics, and overall strategy. Keys to success in this position are excellent communication, strategic thinking, and a strong knowledge of primary market research techniques and secondary data analysis.



What You'll Do:



  • Frame key business questions and define the best insights-generating approach

  • Continuously assess priorities on market research / insight plans and complete market research projects by leading external agencies; develop and maintain market research project budget

  • Translate insights results to inform opportunity assessments, forecasting assumptions, and recommended strategic & tactical actions to brand leadership

  • Build reports and presentations that clearly and succinctly highlight the actionable insights combined with business implications & options

  • Compile, analyze, and visualize findings from secondary marketing and/or sales data (including identification and appropriate use of data sources), in partnership with Analytics colleagues

  • Create the integrated insights picture for the brand, weaving together your primary market research and secondary analysis with the analytics/forecasting results from US Insights & Analytics colleagues

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research)

  • 4+ years of experience at a pharmaceutical / biotechnology manufacturer or working in the biopharmaceutical industry (e.g., management consulting, market research, data/analytics, investment banking)

  • 2+ years of primary market research experience, conducting studies or managing agencies performing research

  • Proven track record influencing laterally and vertically




Preferred Requirements:



  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or Advanced Marketing Degree (e.g., MBA)

  • Insights launch experience with a new brand or indication

  • Experience working in Oncology
