We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Commercial Superintendent with a proven track record in managing large-scale data center projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure successful project execution. This role will be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Oversee all aspects of data center construction projects, from planning to completion.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
Monitor progress, address any issues, and make real-time adjustments as needed.
Data Center Expertise:
Possess in-depth knowledge of data center construction, including infrastructure, electrical systems, HVAC, and security.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices specific to data centers.
Coordinate with specialized subcontractors for critical installation.
Site Supervision:
Provide on-site leadership and supervision.
Manage subcontractors, material delivery, and workforce.
Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality and adherence to project specifications.
Budget and Cost Control:
Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the allocated budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for change orders and additional work.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and team members.
Resolve any conflicts promptly to keep the project on track.
Foster positive relationships with all parties involved.
Safety and Compliance:
Uphold safety protocols and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
Ensure adherence to environmental guidelines.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.
Prepare and submit necessary reports to project management.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Commercial Superintendent.
Proven success in overseeing large-scale data center projects.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in construction software and project management tools.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
