Application Development / Maintenance (a/k/a Software Enginering & Development)(State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, Massachusetts): A full stack web developer position who will work on State Street strategic projects. The work environment is dynamic and fast paced. The position requires hands-on experience in web application development, leading IT technologies in particular J2EE, RDBMS and Web Development. Will be completely hands-on and will work with cross-functional teams. Hybrid-remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy. Specific duties of the position include: Designs initial application layout and start-up codes for new apps, develops the application UI web components using ReactJS, Redux and internal ESF, CDT frameworks; Styles the application using CSS, bootstrap and Less Framework and implements the latest Javascript/TypeScript ES6 features; Consults with technical team lead and Business Analysts on aspects of functional specifications; Identifies and resolves application issues and bugs; Develops quality code within reasonable timeline; Participates in design review and code review and code optimization; Provides assessments of task duration, complexity, progress, and risk to team leads and scrum master; Conducts functional testing, integration testing and unit test of the code by writing test cases; Sets up the application infrastructure, software configuration and build management to make application production ready; Provides system documentation; Runs application builds and deployments, applies expertise in devops and implements Amazon Web Services concepts for the CICD pipeline setup and application architecture; Works on the Oracle, SQL server Database Code Scripts (stored procedures, dynamic queries and functions) for persisting the business, user data and handling the performance by optimizing the queries, index creation; Leads and guides offshore teams with development work and task delegation; Works on Dynatrace for App performance monitoring, availability checks by examining the codes to determine the root cause of any performance difficulties and infrastructure issues; Implements the business logic APIs using Java Spring and Hibernate Frameworks, works on spring task scheduler for day-to-day business activities and develop reports using Jasper; Implement event streaming using Apache Kafka and IBM MQ for asynchronous communications between the applications to achieve microservices architecture; and Migrates legacy applications/app codebase to latest tech stack, providing PROD support to legacy applications by analyzing the .Net framework (Visual Basic and C#) code and fixing issues. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related computer or IT subject; plus 5 years as an application developer or any other occupation/title providing relevant experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's Degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related computer or IT subject; plus 2 years as an application developer or any other occupation/title providing relevant experience.

Must have: Hands on experience in J2EE, Web Development and UNIX; hands on experience in HTML, HTML5, CSS, Java Script frameworks Angular JS, Bootstrap, React JS, NodeJS, Java & DB technologies live Oracle/ SQL server; experience in applying the latest development approaches including Javascript framework like jQuery, event-driven applications using AJAX, Object Oriented (OO) JavaScript, JSON, and XML; good knowledge of object oriented design methodology and design patterns; experience in user experience solutions through wireframes, prototype, visual assets, flowcharts and functional specifications; experience with enterprise messaging technologies, such as IBM MQ, and event streaming technologies, such as Apache Kafka; experience in evaluating emerging technologies, tools and its implementations; and good understanding of public cloud Azure/AWS. Salary Range:
$157,643 - $160,000 Annual
