General Description

Analyze the business results and needs to help identify business problems and propose solutions. Works as a liaison among stakeholders to obtain, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements and functional specifications for changes to business processes and applications. Coordinate and facilitate working sessions to identify and develop different business solution alternatives and scope. Facilitate and coordinate the definition of a business solution including cost and time analysis, and interdependencies between operational and technical areas. Prepare and present business solutions or recommendations to stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves as the point person for at least four (4) or more audits during the year ranging in complexity. This will involve the initial preparation of gathering information, analyzing, organizing, and submitting supporting documentation to the auditors.
  • Has authority to make on-the-spot decisions for issues/questions arising from auditing and compliance perspectives. May negotiate dates and case details as needed.
  • Analyzes procedures and workflows of a division or program to improve its effectiveness, efficiency, and performance standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all processes related to the unit are executed accordingly and collecting the evidence for audit purposes.
  • Recommends and manages recent programs, policies, and procedures in support of business strategic goals.
  • Recommends improvements in such areas as auditing, purchasing, budget development, and administration.
  • Manage and coordinate access to DPC and communications rooms. Manage inventory for DPC and communications rooms.
  • Collects and organizes audit information, supports, and writes narratives to explain processes and justify closure of findings.
  • Responsible for following followed process for DPC & comm rooms in the organization. Keep an inventory for assets in the DPC and comm rooms in the organization and go in or out of those rooms.
  • Collect information from businesses to analyze and synthesize complex or diverse information.
  • Help & Support the internal unit with the procurement process.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Administration from a four-year college or university

  • Business Administration
  • Marketing
  • Accounting
  • Information System

Experience

  • Five+ years of related experience.
  • Some experience in directing the work of others or managing projects is preferred.
  • IT experience related preferred but not mandatory.
