We are the Fuels and Lubricants Division! We are a diverse team tasked with providing high quality instrumentation support for one of the largest independent fuels and lubes testing facilities in the world. By joining our team, you will receive $500.00 in your first paycheck (minus applicable taxes).
Objectives of this Role:
Our objective is to provide the most accurate data to our clients through careful maintenance and calibrations of our machines and systems.
Through on-the-job training, you will learn to make repairs/improvements to existing instrumentation systems and processes.
Perform all duties while complying with all quality and safety standards.
Some tasks will require working solo, while others will be with fellow team members.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Follow procedures and written and verbal instructions.
Must follow and adhere to safety requirements.
Communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and project leaders.
Perform routine and unique calibrations and repairs while maintaining excellent quality records.
Utilize troubleshooting skills.
Learn fabrication techniques from the talented craft technicians on our team.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Advanced education, such as an Associates degree or continuing education courses related to Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or directly related may be considered in lieu of some work experience.
2-10 years: Experience in Instrumentation or related field, including experience in troubleshooting, calibrations, and use of hand tools.
1-5 years: Experience using computer software including Microsoft Office Applications e.g., Excel and MS Word.
1-5 years: Must be able to interpret schematics, electronic diagrams, manuals as well as written and spoken instructions.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
