Position Summary:



Position Summary:


The Copy Center Assistant provides support to the daily operation of the Copy Center by assisting faculty and staff with copying requests. This position will also operate copiers and other equipment.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




The following are the functions essential to performing this job:


1. Operate digital copiers to complete copying requests.
2. Coordinate workflow with Copy Center Manager for timely completion of printing requests.
3. Provide customer service to faculty and staff by answering questions and assisting with filling out request forms.
4. Operate additional equipment such as: folder, paper cutter, and coil bindery.
5. Troubleshoot requests that will not reproduce correctly. When possible, improve layout of document to ensure best possible copy product.
6. Notify faculty and staff when copy requests are complete.
7. Assist with yearly inventory.


Required Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma
2. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds, with or without accommodations
3. Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and work around large pieces of equipment


Desired Qualifications:

1. Experience providing customer service
2. Experience in Microsoft Office suite
3. Experience with the operation of commercial copier equipment
4. Ability to interact positively and respectfully with a diverse population
5. Evidence of dependability, punctuality, and good organizational skills
