Senior Graphic DesignerOffice of University Communications & Marketing

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of Marketing within University Communications and Marketing (UCM), the Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for art direction and graphic design for print, web, and environmental graphics. The Senior Graphic Designer works in close partnership with UCM colleagues from the Web Communications, Campus Engagement and Executive Communications, and Content Strategy teams as well as with partners in the University's colleges, schools, and administrative units to ensure compelling graphics and visuals are created and integrated across the University's communications channels. The Senior Graphic Designer assists in developing and implementing the University's visual branding guidelines.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or related field* 7 - 10 years of experience and proven excellence in the development of print and digital designs.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the marketing and design field in an academic setting preferred.* Strong persuasion and presentation skills.
