Job Description Summary
The Clinical Research Assistant B will serve as the point of contact for all study related inquiries and will be responsible for coordinating research related activities per protocol including recruitment, eligibility screening, running participant sessions, sample collection, data collection and quality assurance.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have experience collecting research data, interacting with research participants and working well as part of a team.
Specific activities include: (1) Serving as a point of contact for all study related inquiries; (2) Consenting participants; (3) Collecting behavioral
questionnaire data and biological samples; (4) Collect side effect data and follow reporting procedures; (5) Conducting data entry/quality
assurance; (6) Counseling participants; (7) Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have a High School Grad/GE Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience should include: previous experience recruiting and consenting research participants; previous experience working with clinical patient
populations; familiarity with data collections and quality control procedures; and a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
while meeting deadlines. Preferred candidates will also demonstrate a customer service orientation, a high degree of professionalism, familiarity
with PennChart, the ability to communicate effectively, careful attention to detail and previous counseling experience.
Position is contingent upon continued funding.
