Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Technical Writer 4.

Responsibilities:
Research and Understand Technical Concepts:


  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information on technical concepts, processes, and products

  • Conduct in-depth research to comprehend complex technical topics

Create Clear and Concise Documentation:

  • Develop white papers that are clear, concise, and easy to understand

  • Translate technical jargon into user-friendly content for both technical and non-technical audiences

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is incorporated into documentation

Review and Edit Existing Documentation:

  • Review and edit existing documentation to maintain accuracy and relevance

  • Ensure documentation complies with company standards and industry best practices

Stay Updated on Technological Advancements:

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to incorporate the latest information into documentation

Manage Documentation Lifecycle:

  • Organize and maintain a documentation repository, ensuring easy access and version control

  • Update documentation as necessary







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-focused environment

  • Experience with graphic design tools for creating visuals to accompany documentation

  • Previous experience in cloud computing, software development, or related fields

  • Strong understanding of technical concepts, software development, and IT infrastructure

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Proficiency in documentation tools and software

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
