Ecore is looking for a Transportation Manager to join our York, PA team!

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm with overtime as needed

Transportation Manager Salary: $80,000 - $90,000, based on experience

Core Contributions:

Dispatch and Routing:

• Direct and optimize vehicle dispatch, routing, and tracking for efficient operations.

• Lead and manage subordinate staff to ensure compliance with organizational goals and values.

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and conduct audits to promote a safe work environment.
• Coordinate drug and alcohol testing for drivers to comply with regulations.

• Coordinate material distribution, storage, and shipping documentation.
• Maintain organized records of vehicle operations and expenses.

• Ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, including timely paperwork and record-keeping.

• Oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and optimize budgets.

• Analyze transportation data to identify efficiency improvements and implement corrective measures.

Essential Experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of school and experience required
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience as a Transportation Manager, Shipping Manager, or similar role
• Demonstrated leadership skills handling a variety of production and employee related issues including hiring, training, coaching, corrective actions, etc.
• Solid knowledge of Supply Chain
• Thorough knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency required; specific proficiency in Telematics, Office 365/MS Office Suite, and ERP experience required
