The Social Service Department at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a clinical social worker for the OB Outpatient Clinic. The candidate must have clinical therapy experience, and bio-psycho-social assessment skills. The position requires addressing emotional distress, coping difficulties, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. Must have excellent collaborative and consultation skills in offering social work services to patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team. The clinical social worker will provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling, as well as identify and address related social determinants of health. Ability to provide timely documentation is necessary.
40 hours Monday through Friday (possibility for some remote hours)
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Perinatal Mental Health /Women's Health preferred.
Master's of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program required.
Require current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or must obtain MA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within 4 months of hire date.
