We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Superintendent to lead construction projects within the education and municipal sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project management, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. This role will be based in the western region of Fort Worth.
Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
Oversee the execution of education and municipal projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and local codes.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
Site Supervision:
Provide on-site leadership and supervision.
Monitor construction progress, resolve any issues, and ensure work is completed on schedule.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards.
Budget Management:
Allocate and monitor project budgets, tracking expenses and cost control.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure financial targets are met.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for change orders and additional work.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and team members.
Address any concerns promptly and maintain positive relationships.
Safety and Compliance:
Uphold safety protocols and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
Ensure adherence to environmental guidelines and best practices.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.
Prepare and submit necessary reports to project management.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Commercial Superintendent.
Proven success in managing education and municipal projects.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in construction software and project management tools.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
