This position is located with Pediatrics Community and General Casual. It is a Non Exempt, Casual status position with No benefits.

The role is not to exceed 19.5 hours per week.

Position Summary:

Assists Principle Investigator with study enrollment.

Position Key Accountabilities:


  • Prepares IRB documents and assists with answering IRB Committee questions, under the guidance of the PI, for final approval.
  • Documents approval of IRB and contract(s)
  • Completes all study forms, study protocols, informed consent and others as needed by agency.
  • Schedules and coordinates pre-site visits, site visits, and coordinates study initiation.
  • Enroll patients, after being identified by PI or participating doctor, and monitors progress according to the study regulations and protocols.

Certification/Skills: None

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in lieu of education.

Minimum Experience:

One year of applicable experience. May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.

This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.

Security Sensitive:

This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
