Job Description:

The HPC & AI Cloud Services Team focuses on providing AI cloud and supercomputing as a service (SCaaS) to a broad computing community. Our team is looking for a Senior High-Performance Computing Engineer bridging our operations and engineering teams. The successful candidate will join our stellar team to help execute a highly forward-looking cloud computing platform optimizing data and compute performance, gravity, and liquidity across a complex ecosystem.

How will you make your mark


  • • Analyze, design, test, qualify, operate and document in production unique solutions for AI focused GPU and high-performance computing systems.

  • • Provide primary operational support and engineering for production computing services, diagnose problems, and work with vendors and the engineering team to quickly resolve.

  • • Contribute to both the development of AI and HPC cluster deployment automation and architecture through collaboration with members of the engineering team.

  • • Collaborate with project managers and development partners to document and develop standard operation procedures for delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of customer engagements.

Required Qualifications


  • • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or closely related field.

  • • 6 to 10 years of experience in HPC operations / system administration.

  • • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills and ability to work in a team.

  • • Solid experience with Unix-like systems and their operations.

Preferred Qualifications


  • • Proficiency to develop and maintain programs and scripts that aid in the operation and automation using various shell (primarily bash) and high-level languages (Python or Go).

  • • Experience in large-scale cloud or system integration projects.

  • • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment software methodologies and how they apply to systems engineering.

  • • Experience using tools such as Nagios, Grafana and Prometheus to supervise systems, metrics, and build dashboards.

  • • Experience crafting and implementing highly available systems/services using virtual machines and Kubernetes resources.

USD Annual Salary: $128,000.00 - $295,000.00
