UC Health is hiring a full-time Registered MRI Technologist for the MRI Department at West Chester Hospital. We are offering up to an $8,000 sign-on bonus!
A Registered MRI Technologist will support West Chester Hospital's MRI Department, and mobile scanning unit, by performing all aspects of magnetic resonance imaging according to established protocols. This includes reviewing for appropriateness and completeness of patient histories and requests for services.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate degree in Radiologic, Nuclear, or Sonographic Technology.
1 year of experience is preferred.
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or have equivalent certifications.
ARRT-MR licensure is preferred.
Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
Current BLS certification for Healthcare workers.

Operates complex imaging equipment in a safe manner and reviews films for diagnostic acceptability.
Reviews and administers medications according to physician direction and provides continuous care to patients after completed procedures.
Prepares and administers contrast media or medications orally and by intravenous injection.
Administers or assists in administering CPR or other emergency procedures as needed.
Maintains appropriate records and supplies, participates in quality control, and evaluates department, equipment, and performance for areas of improvement.
