The Position

Primary function and focus of this position is to provide HR support to the Human Resource Department in our largest manufacturing facility located in Mt. Hope, OH. This 600+ team member, 3-shift plant has over 1 million square feet under one roof.Qualifications


  • 2+ years applicable experience performing administrative functions preferred.
  • Previous experience in Human Resource preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality both within the department and the organization.
  • Ability to interface well with all departments within the Company and represent the Human Resource Department in a highly professional manner.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and internal contacts within the organization, using verbal or written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and judgment.
  • Ability to manage time and set priorities in order to meet designated deadlines.
  • All other tasks required of the HR department.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree preferred (or currently pursuing).

  • Perform a variety of HR duties under the general direction of the HR Director including employee relations and communications, talent development, recruitment, and safety awareness and compliance.
  • Provide support in creating and analyzing HR metrics and ensure data integrity.
  • Support recruiting initiatives by assisting in sourcing candidates, resume screening, scheduling phone interviews and onsite interviews as well as the on-boarding process.
  • Support and / or manage positive employee initiatives such as employee events, community involvement, electronic bulletin boards and so on.
  • Other projects as assigned.
