Description: Our client is currently seeking a DIVISION CONTROLLER with manufacturing industry experience. *LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY*
Responsible for compiling, reviewing, and submitting financial, operational and statistical reporting on a timely basis as requested by Division Management and Corporate
Compile and Review Reports: Responsible for compiling, reviewing, and submitting financial, operational, and statistical reports as requested by Division Management and Corporate.
Pricing Projections: Prepare monthly pricing projections for the division and perform other pricing analyses as needed.
Accounting Cycles Oversight: Participate in and oversee the closing of various accounting cycles for the Division.
Financial Review Meetings: Periodically meet with Division Manager and department managers/supervisors to review financial reports, document variances, and ensure accurate revenue and cost recording.
Supervision and Reporting: Supervise accounting staff, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and adhere to company accounting policies and US GAAP.
Regulatory Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting, including tax collection and remittance, filing with the US Census Bureau, business licenses, and permits.
Reporting Structure: Report directly to the Assistant Corporate Controller and comply with Corporate Accounting instructions.
Requirements:
Must have a bachelor's degree in Business, concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Possess a minimum of 8 years work experience in accounting
Must have supervisory experience.
Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
Must be highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets.
Must be skilled in use of MS Word.
Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Must have excellent work ethic
