Description: Our client is currently seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clients team!
Scope of role:
Location: Lake Success, NY
Hours: M-F 8am-4pm and 9am-5pm (Shifts may vary due to scheduling)
Job Engagement: Contract
**Travel required**
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform routine phlebotomy procedures.
- Ability to distinguish sample types and draw requirements with order of draw for lab testing.
- Navigate laboratory computer system with minimal to no errors.
- Perform pediatric and adult phlebotomy.
- Obtain finger stick collection. o Verify patient demographics accurately with two patient identifiers.
Qualifications & Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED Required
- Previous laboratory experience preferred.
- Pediatrics Phlebotomy experienced preferred
- Phlebotomy certified
