ECS is seeking a DARPA Technical Writer - Artificial Intelligence to work in our Arlington, VA office.
Job Description:
ECS provides Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in a dynamic environment pursuing impactful and cutting-edge research. We're seeking candidates to support preparation of executive level briefings and written reports relating to artificial intelligence topics. Successful candidates will have a proven track record writing articles, journals, proposals, or other related media. This role is on-site with partial telework.
Required Skills:
Active DoD Secret clearance.
US citizenship required per contract.
Excellent communication and researching skills.
Knowledge/experience in generative AI methods.
Strong ability to distill complex technical and scientific concepts into accessible language for a broad range of audiences in written and presentation formats.
Experience in writing and editing solicitation and contract documents.
Excellent editing skills, including strong knowledge of grammar, sentence structure, and standards of written and visual presentation style.
Experience writing succinctly and specifically for polished products such as program descriptions, budgeting documents, and executive level briefings.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Government research and development programs.
