Job Description:

Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking motivated and creative UX Design Interns to join our team.  As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the design process, gaining valuable experience in creating user-friendly interfaces and enhancing overall user experience. You’ll collaborate with experienced designers, researchers, and product teams to create innovative solutions.



  • We seek candidates available to work full-time throughout the summer and part-time throughout the school year. 

  • Hybrid/Remote positions are available in the Atlanta, GA and Columbia, MD areas.

Position Overview




  • Assist UX Researchers: Work alongside experienced researchers to collect data on consumer preferences and behavior.


  • Data Collection: Collect information regarding consumer preferences, usability, and pain points.


  • Product Design Decisions: Assist in making informed product design decisions based on research findings.


  • Usability Testing: Participate in product usability testing to identify areas for improvement.


  • Documentation: Document design notes, element construction, development processes, and other supporting materials.


  • Collaboration: Collaborate with UX Designers to conduct user research and obtain feedback on existing designs.


  • Feature Design and Delivery: Manage project plans and contribute to feature design and delivery.


Qualifications




  • Portfolio: Candidates should have a portfolio showcasing at least two case studies demonstrating expertise in design, prototyping, research and


  • Software Skills: Familiarity with design tools (Figma preferred), wire framing, and prototyping.


  • Problem Solving Skills: Ability to pay attention to design details and user interactions to help simplify workflows and processes.


  • Education: Must be current Junior/Senior or Graduate student pursuing a degree in UX design, HCI, graphic design or a related field.


  • Passion for UX: A genuine interest in creating user-centered designs and improving user experiences.


  • Communication: Strong verbal and communication skills


 


Pay Range:



  • Level II (Junior/Senior): $28 - $34 p/h

  • Level III (Grad Student): $34 - $41 p/h
