Job Description:

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for keeping records of all products shipped and received. Packs shipping containers, develops mailing labels and shipping documents and ensures that all orders have been filled correctly. Will also verify incoming shipments by scanning barcodes to store that information. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate shipping, receiving and warehouse of SageNet and customer-owned materials


• Track movement of return materials through SAP


• Oversees handling and disposition of all returns


• Updates automated system to track materials and equipment


• Assist in resolving all installer and warehouse inventory discrepancies


• Coordinate cycle count activities


• Participate in physical inventories and reconciliations as required


• Provide internal customer service telephone support to include taking orders for parts and prioritizing orders


• Ensure physical condition of warehouse and equipment complies with OSHA standards


• Perform general warehousing/housekeeping activities as required to ensure overall facility goals and objectives are being met


• Familiarity with International shipping requirements and freight classifications


• Ability to trace lost shipping and/or customer claims of lost shipments, initiates proof of delivery documents


• Assist in other areas as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Able to learn how to operate standard warehousing equipment


• Ability to lift up to 50lbs


• SAP knowledge is a plus

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• May require long hours and weekend work on occasion


• Frequently moves boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.


• Standing for long periods of time


• Working in an indoor warehouse environment
