In this role, you will assist be responsible for directing and organizing all activities, events, and services related to Recreation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability This role manages a team of 15-20 and reporting directly to the Director of Recreation .

The ideal candidate must be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences, a talent for training and developing others, and experienced in all aspects of Recreation operations (ex. financial performance, social media reputation, local market capture, and employee relations). At least 1 year of recreation management experience is required. Prior luxury hotel & Forbes experience are a plu s.

What will I be doing?

Responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Lead and direct all Recreation operations, vendor relationships, guest service and satisfaction, merchandising and marketing, inventory management and cost controls, cabana and Kids Club reservations, department management and meeting participation.

Responsible for directing and overseeing the marketing, programming, and operation of the pool deck, cabanas, cabana packages and upsells, and Kids Club. Plan, organize and execute special events including Holiday activations and programming. Monitor and develop team member performance to include providing supervision and professional development, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward. Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards as well as recruit, interview and train team members.
