The laboratory of Alejandro Soto-Guttierez is looking for a postdoctoral associate to study various issues related to the transplantation of liver cells, differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into hepatocytes, hepatic maturation of hepatic progenitors derived from human pluripotent stem cells using cellular and acellular components of the liver in addition to genetic engineering and organ culture to test engraftment and proliferative capacity of different cell populations in the treatment of liver-based metabolic disorders and liver failure in rodents and finally performing auxiliary liver graft transplantation in rodents.
PhD required: Cell Biology, Reproductive Biology, Molecular Biology, or any related area
