Responsibilities
A/E/C industry knowledge of:
Marketing fundamentals, proposal management, and business development principles
Terminology, procedures, and delivery methods
Marketing/CRM databases
Current trends and industry events
TxDOT and Texas municipal market
Job Performance:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate marketing processes following standard procedures, including planning, review, and production of statements of qualifications, proposals, and other marketing/business development materials
Manage the preparation and draft the content of proposals and SOQs
Facilitate and lead storyboarding/proposal strategy planning meetings and development of proposal strategy and winning themes
Engage senior technical and management staff to obtain necessary information and commitment for specific pursuits
Verify complex technical solutions, strategies, and themes are easily understandable, readable, and compelling
Manage proposal schedules and keeps internal staff and subconsultants on task reviews, organizes and edits written documentation to improve clarity
Must have a keen eye for details in ensuring proposal compliance requirements are met
Assist and/or coach technical staff for presentations and interview
Able to recommend, prepare, and coordinate awards competition entries
Collaborate with marketing team to improve standard materials and make continual improvements to marketing and proposal process
Provide graphic design support for a variety of materials including presentations, proposals, and interview boards
Assist other marketing personnel and technical staff with proposal and marketing tasks
Provide support to BD activities (capture planning, client feedback, CRM, etc.)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
5+ years A/E/C marketing experience to include the TxDOT procurement process
