Position: Local Delivery Driver

Location: Fergus Falls, Minnesota

Job Type: Fulltime Position with great wages, complete benefit package including employee medical insurance and Paid Time Off.

Job Description: Our company is currently seeking an experienced Truck Driver to transport our products from Fergus Falls to eastern North & South Dakota including Western Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year experience. The candidate will have the ability to handle regular regional driving with the ability to support loading and unloading of products at company designated locations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a box truck to transport goods and materials to designated company locations.
• Deliver company cargo.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with warehouse Lead and Project management office regarding delivery runs, Inventory levels, and any issues that may arise.
• Enter information about cargo, deliveries, and pickups into a inventory Management system.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
• Handle emergencies on the road.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels.

In addition to driving, there will be some light industrial warehouse work of Inventory management, loading and unloading the truck. This includes inventory logistics, inventory counts, and preparing material for movement.

The position reports to our Project Manager and is a key contributor to our Warehouse Management processes to support our meter deployments. We are seeking a team member that demonstrates an aptitude for quality, teamwork, process adherence, and warehousing/inventory accuracy.

Shifts Available:

• Monday thru Friday 8am to 5:00 pm is the standard work schedule with limited available overtime.
• Route delivery is targeted for 3 days a week with load preparation and light warehouse duty the other 2 days a week in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
• Home Daily

Required Skills and Abilities

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Valid Medical Examiner Certificate
• Previous years’ experience in delivery driver role preferred.
• Must complete background check to include motor vehicle record search and drug testing
• Quality and Safety Minded
• Organized with Positive Attitude and a desire to grow.
• The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Work Experience:

• Consistent employment record with job duties related to this position.
• General driving, warehouse, and limited inventory management experience is a plus.
• Forklift skills desired.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
