Position Description:

Motus is seeking an experienced sales manager to manage a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in a hybrid capacity. You will play a crucial role in driving our sales pipeline, mentoring and developing a BDR team, and ensuring the success of our sales efforts. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact our company's growth while also developing future sales talent.

Position Duties:

  • Pipeline Management: Lead all aspects of the pipeline generation process and ensure a steady flow of high-quality leads for the sales team.
  • Lead Strategy Development: Develop and supervise outbound lead strategies to improve lead generation efforts.
  • Mentoring and Guidance: Provide regular coaching and mentorship to BDRs through one-on-one sessions and real-time feedback.
  • KPI Monitoring: Set, monitor, and hold the team accountable to key performance indicators (KPIs) to get results.
  • Training Development: Own the maintenance and ongoing development of training collateral to ensure the team is equipped with the latest tools and techniques.
  • Hiring Process: Actively participate in the recruitment process by interviewing, and onboarding new BDR team members.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Report on and analyze lead pipeline, forecasting, and team activity to identify areas for improvement.
  • Sales Strategy: Keep the team updated on standard methodologies in sales strategy and technology to drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Efficiency: Drive efficiency across team processes and activities to optimize performance.
  • Collaboration with Business Partners: Cultivate a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing within your team as well as with your Business Partners. Partner with Marketing to optimize demand generation campaigns and align campaigns with outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Product Knowledge: Acquire and maintain an updated knowledge of Motus' product suite to effectively communicate its value proposition to potential customers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of sales management experience preferred.
  • Proven success in leading successful sales teams.
  • Deep knowledge of sales standard methodologies and techniques.
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring with the ability to adapt coaching style to individual team member needs.
  • Excited by attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining outstanding talent early in their Sales careers.
  • Have a reputation with cross-functional teams as being collaborative, innovative, accountable, and reliable.
  • Have a focus on being data-driven, highly analytical, lead through influence, are a structured problem solver.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Salesforce.com and proficiency in prospecting tools such as Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Where required by law, Motus provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The base pay for this role is $100,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidates relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short-and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
