When you work as an IT Laboratory System Support Analyst at KCAS, you further our mission by installing, configuring, performing IQ/OQs, supporting, and troubleshooting scientific software.

In this role, we will rely on you to:


  • Installation of scientific software

  • Performance of IQs for regulated software with limited support to OQs

  • Configuration of scientific software

  • Assists in the resolution of laboratory IT issues.

  • Resolution of IT tickets both scientific and general

  • Document processes and procedures for IT scientific related support functions, including end user self-service documentation.

  • Record information to BMRAM, KACE, and regulated systems.

  • Add user accounts, remove accounts, and unlock accounts for scientific and general software.

  • Perform account reviews.

  • Assist with lab data back-ups and retrieval.

To qualify specifically for this role, you will have:


  • 1-year related experience in a laboratory.

  • Experience in troubleshooting technical problems.

  • Experience supporting systems in a health sciences environment

  • Associate's degree in a related field.

  • Relevant coursework or certificates

  • Able to work on multiple projects·

  • Able to communicate with scientists·

  • Able to breakdown complicated processes and make them usable by non-experts·

  • Able to perform tasks with a sense of urgency·

  • Able to maintain a progress chart of multiple projects·

  • Self-motivated and deadline driven·

  • Have a genuine interest in learning new laboratory software and processes·

  • Perform all aspects of the job in a way that supports the company brand and supports company mission, vision and values.
