Job Description:

We are a packaging and manufacturing company looking to add to our HR team!


Responsibilities:



  • Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in a timely fashion.

  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives.

  • Support benefits and leave administration (short-term disability, workers' compensation, FMLA and personal leave)

  • Maintain HRIS system with payroll and employee data.

  • Answer employee questions and addresses employee concerns with company; including employee safety and health.

  • Provide internal communication for employee relations.

  • Maintain functional knowledge of federal, state and local legal regulations and processes.

  • Collaborate with recruiting team and hiring managers to ensure successful selection and onboarding of top talent.

  • Participate in job fairs and college recruitment activities.

Requirements



  • 3+ years of HR experience related to: Benefits & leave administration, payroll, and employee relations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (HR), Business or related field.

  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday) and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.


Additional Info:




  • Pay range: $60k-$85k (depending on experience)


  • Schedule: Monday-Friday between 7am-5pm (40-45 avg number of hours per week, salaried role)


  • Location: 100% onsite
