We are a packaging and manufacturing company looking to add to our HR team!
Responsibilities:
Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in a timely fashion.
Assist with employee engagement initiatives.
Support benefits and leave administration (short-term disability, workers' compensation, FMLA and personal leave)
Maintain HRIS system with payroll and employee data.
Answer employee questions and addresses employee concerns with company; including employee safety and health.
Provide internal communication for employee relations.
Maintain functional knowledge of federal, state and local legal regulations and processes.
Collaborate with recruiting team and hiring managers to ensure successful selection and onboarding of top talent.
Participate in job fairs and college recruitment activities.
Requirements
3+ years of HR experience related to: Benefits & leave administration, payroll, and employee relations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (HR), Business or related field.
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday) and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Additional Info:
Pay range: $60k-$85k (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday between 7am-5pm (40-45 avg number of hours per week, salaried role)
Location: 100% onsite
