Job Description:

Position Summary:



We are in search of an adept ERP Program Manager to oversee the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of our extensive Oracle Fusion ERP and Commodity Management transformation program. This role involves serving as the primary liaison between the Implementation Team, Steering Committee, and external resource managers, while also engaging executive leadership and providing regular updates on program progress. The ideal candidate will boast a successful track record in managing large-scale ERP projects, possess strong leadership abilities, and excel in collaborating with diverse teams.


This will be a hybrid position with 3 days per week in-office in Brown County in MN.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Project Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with System Integrators (SI) to develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in conjunction with the Cross-Functional Project Team and SI. Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential challenges.

  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead cross-functional teams involved in ERP projects, including staff consultants, business analysts, developers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and external consultants. Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Establish effective communication channels to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment across stakeholders. Oversee vendor relationships and performance to ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.

  • Implementation and Integration: Drive the implementation and deployment of all systems, modules, and functionalities according to business requirements. Coordinate integration efforts with existing systems, applications, and databases. Monitor project progress and milestones, adjusting as necessary to maintain momentum and meet deadlines.

  • Change Management: Assist the Organizational Change Management (OCM) Team Leader in developing strategies to facilitate user adoption of new systems and processes, minimizing resistance and maximizing acceptance. Support workshops and create training materials for end-user training.




Education, Experience, and Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5 years of experience as a Program Manager leading large-scale ERP implementations, preferably in a complex organizational environment.

  • Strong understanding of ERP concepts, methodologies, and best practices, particularly in Oracle Fusion.

  • Expertise in Project Management methodology, including facilitating decision-making structures among multiple executive stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.

  • Proficiency in project management and ERP-specific tools.

  • Additional skills in change management, organizational development, and user adoption strategies are advantageous.

  • Project management certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar is highly desirable.
