Job Details


Facility: WCO - Wellstar Corporate Office



Reporting to the to the Executive Director of Enterprise Computing, this position leads teams that manage data centers, support application technical platforms supporting infrastructure operations, and data protection & disaster recovery services. This leader is also responsible for the direct management of the Office365 collaboration platform and delivery/management of services through a technical project intake process. Develops near-term tactical plans and a strategic, longer-range roadmap to increase automation, improve efficiency and service quality, and reduce overall cost of ownership.


Establishes measurable goals, objectives, and operating procedures for Enterprise IT. This position supports the strategic business plans, applications, and all related matters for computerized information technology. Manages customer deliverables and expectations as they relate to day-to- day support and operations. Understands user and process requirements and ensures those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements. Understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions.


This is a technical leadership role where the position will work closely with both managers and engineers to provide the best support and service for the system.

Required Minimum Education:



Bachelor's Degree is required.


Computer Science or Information Systems major is preferred.



Required Minimum Experience:



Minimum 8 years Information Technology is required.
Minimum 5 years Direct management of employees is required.
Minimum 6 years IT Infrastructure is required.


Minimum 2 years IT Operations is required.


Minimum 4 years Managing teams responsible for at least 1 of the following: Storage, Compute, Networking, or Endpoint is required
Minimum 2 years working in an organization of at least 10,000 employees is required.
Minimum 2 years Hands-on technical experience managing infrastructure platforms within the last 10 years is required


Minimum 2 years Healthcare is preferred.
Minimum 2 years Data Protection (Rubrik) is preferred.
Minimum 2 years Disaster Recovery Platforms (ServiceNow BCM, CL Digital, Fusion Risk) is preferred.
Minimum 2 years Office365 Collaboration Platform is preferred.
