What we need:


Mohawk is looking for a Data Management Specialists who will support entry of samples data for our customers which requires strong knowledge of the governance rules, policies, business structure, and legal requirements surrounding these changes. The Specialists support multiple systems and varying processes, including acquisitions and integration effort related to SAP (CREST) implementation.



What you'll do:

  • Work with product managers to identify required information and advise, as well as challenge implications related to factors such as fabrication, product specifications, and dimensions needed for all sample part numbers that impact our business.
  • Research and resolve all data entry related issues to promptly address data integrity issues and to correct the data on a timely basis. Ensure that the correct information is provided to assure that business processes are not affected and to mitigate financial risk for the company (i.e. product line shut down).
  • Creation and maintenance of BOM for all Sample SKU's for Mohawk.
  • Adds and maintains new items/materials from various request formats, while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot why products are not showing in Exchange, as well as CAMS data.
  • Evaluates requests to determine proper categories for various set-up requirements.
  • Validates the requested item/material information using best business practices/requirements.
  • Maintains data consistently and uniformly across multiple systems (i.e. SAP, AS400).
  • Develops expert knowledge of assigned specific SKU category.
  • Identifies priority requests and expedites processes accordingly.
  • Determines and inactivates duplicate parts/materials per business needs.
  • Builds and processes mass changes across multiple systems per business needs.
  • Executes non-standard requests to set up new items and researches/resolves data exceptions.
  • Provides ad hoc reports as requested by various departments, including Finance.
  • Performs project work as needed, as well as other related assignments assigned by Supervisor.



What you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous data entry or customer service related experience preferred.
  • Prefer 2 years of experience with Mohawk products, SKU structures and inventory systems.
  • Proficient PC and systems- working knowledge of AS400, SAP, Excel, Word.

  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks, and meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to take initiative when issues arise.
  • Support an approach to continuous learning/enhance skillset as business needs evolve.
  • Must be a team player, considering the needs of the group.
