Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.
Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution.
Research, gather, and synthesize information to support decision-making processes.
Utilize ESRI ArcGIS software to create, manage, analyze, and display geographic information.
Develop and maintain GIS databases, including data capture, conversion, and integration.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into GIS requirements.
Design, develop, and implement GIS solutions to address specific business challenges or opportunities.
Perform spatial analysis to derive meaningful insights and support decision-making.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS-related issues.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in GIS technology.
Skill Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in GIS analysis and implementation.
Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS software suite.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Experience with requirements/user story grooming in Agile environments.
Basic knowledge of web design principles and practices.
Proficiency in web development languages and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Understanding of testing methodologies, including unit testing, functional testing, system testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
Knowledge of release management processes and tools.
Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
