We are searching for a highly qualified and results-oriented Quality Manager to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the consistent production of high-quality chemicals that meet all regulatory requirements and customer specifications. This leadership position demands a strong understanding of quality control principles, chemical manufacturing processes, and the ability to implement and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS).
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Lead and manage a team of quality control (QC) inspectors, technicians, and analysts.
Establish and maintain quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Oversee the implementation of quality control testing throughout the production process, ensuring adherence to established specifications and protocols.
Analyze quality control data to identify trends and potential issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to continuously improve quality.
Conduct audits of production processes and quality control procedures to identify areas for improvement.
Manage and investigate customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
Liaise with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment with quality objectives.
Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, quality control best practices, and relevant chemical manufacturing standards.
Maintain accurate and complete quality control documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the QMS and overall production efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within the chemical manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of quality control principles, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and relevant industry regulations.
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining a QMS.
Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and analytical techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with quality control software a plus.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality excellence.
