As a Software Architect, you will collaborate closely with development, product management, architecture, information security, and infrastructure teams. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality software and technology products that align with business requirements and drive desired outcomes. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our products, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, and evaluating emerging technologies.

Team Details: You'll be part of an 8-member architect team, supporting a larger project team of 200 individuals.
Work Location: Onsite presence in Cincinnati is required. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, with occasional additional days as needed.
Minimum Position Requirements
Cloud and Azure Expertise: Demonstrated experience with Cloud/Azure implementations and architecture.
Retail Technology Background: Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS), fuel, self-checkout, or payment systems.
Scalable Solutions: At least 3 years of hands-on experience working on high-volume, internet-scale solutions.
Microservices Architecture: Proficiency in developing and architecting scalable microservices.
Cloud-Hosted Backend Services: Any exposure to developing and/or architecting public cloud-hosted backend services.
Omnichannel Technology: Proven knowledge of technology to support omnichannel experiences.
Effective Communication: Strong written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Innovation and Industry Trends: Demonstrated delivery of innovative results, coupled with a deep understanding of industry trends and competition.
Team Leadership: Ability to build, mentor, and maintain an inclusive team-based environment.
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA): Proficiency in SOA and cloud architecture.
Security and Compliance: Experience with data privacy, encryption, PCI compliance, etc.
Design Patterns: Emphasis on utilizing design patterns and architectural principles to ensure timely delivery of quality solutions.
Modeling Tools: Familiarity with C4 Modeling using PlantUML (PUML) and experience using Draw.io.
Collaboration Tools: Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
