Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager will lead a team and oversee all warehouse operations; this includes material handling, receiving, kitting, and shipping. This role will provide hands-on supervision while motivating, leading by example, and exercising a positive team-building atmosphere. The successful candidate will continuously improve all, inbound, outbound, and internal material movement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall operations of the stock room
• Provide guidance, direction, and enhance individual performance through defined expectations, training, coaching, and mentoring of the warehouse team
• Collaborate with support functions and customers to drive improvement of companywide objectives and customer satisfaction
• Develop and ensure successful performance against departmental metrics by taking tactical actions or implementing process improvement as needed
• Establish a high-performing culture, commitment to excellence, and improvement
• Ensure processes and procedures related to material movement in MRP and outside MRP are enforced and documented
• Manage company cycle counting procedures to achieve accuracy of inventory
• Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
• Maintain communication with customers to answer shipping and receiving inquiries and troubleshoot problems

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience/certifications in lieu of a degree
• 4 + years of experience in warehouse management or in a supervisory role
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge and experience in managing inventory and handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety Requirement

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Contracts, Procurement, Quality, and Management personnel
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse departmental team under pressure
• Excellent decision-making skills, able to prioritize tasks

Compensation

Salary Minimum: $80,000

Salary Maximum: $110,000
